Melbourne Man Dies After Single Vehicle Crash on US-1

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A 36-year-old Melbourne man died after single vehicle crash Tuesday night on US-1 near Helmsman Place.
Authorities say the vehicle, 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis ran off the roadway for an unknown reason in the southbound lanes.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say the vehicle eventually went airborne and collided with an embankment.
The crash is under investigation FHP.
