The Goddard School to Open 19,000-Square-Foot Early Childhood Education Center in Viera

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Goddard School, a nationally acclaimed early childhood education franchise, is set to open its first location in Viera in early summer 2024.

The Goddard School of Viera will serve Viera, Suntree, and the surrounding Melbourne Communities.

The school will be the second location for owner, Scott Sheldon, in the Central Florida area, who presently owns The Goddard School of Oviedo.

This 19,000-square-foot early childhood education center will have 16 classrooms to provide care for and educate approximately 280 students. Additionally, the school will add approximately 45 teaching jobs to the community.

The new school will feature an indoor gymnasium, a STEAM room, an outdoor sports court, an outdoor learning classroom, an outdoor amphitheater, and a turf athletic field alongside multiple playground structures. Additionally, the school will be equipped with hospital-grade sanitization equipment to ensure a healthy environment.

With a focus on exploration, learning, and social-emotional growth, The Goddard School uses a play- and inquiry-based approach grounded in the most current, academically endorsed methods in early childhood education to nurture the extraordinary in every child.

Children can explore and discover music and art, learn how to communicate using sign language and secondary languages and develop problem-solving skills through play.
