How to Boost the Happy Hormones in Your Body

Spend time outdoors 

Providing one of the most effective ways to boost your serotonin levels, spending time outdoors, particularly when the sun is shining, is great for making you feel happier. 

Try to spend at least 15 minutes outside per day, more if you can. Just don’t forget to wear sunscreen. 

Laugh with a friend 

The simple act of laughing can help relieve the symptoms of depression and anxiety by boosting both your dopamine and endorphin levels. 

Why not try telling a few jokes, watching a comedy, or sharing amusing anecdotes from your friendship? You may even want to try some Poppers to help you loosen up and feel more euphoric. If you are new to meditating, then you first need to find a quiet and comfortable place to sit. Next, let all your negative and positive thoughts rise from your mind and pass you by. Start by doing this for 5 minutes per day and gradually work your way up to longer sessions. 

Spend time with your pets

When you spend time with your pets, you will immediately feel more relaxed and at peace. Sometimes, all it takes is a few minutes stroking your cat or sitting with your dog to help boost your oxytocin levels and, in turn, your mood.
