BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Brevard Public Schools and the Cocoa Campus of Brevard Adult and Community Education hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the CDL Training Academy on Friday.

In attendance were School Board Chair Megan Wright, School Board Member Katye Campbell, Superintendent Dr. Mark Rendell, City of Cocoa Government Mayor Blake, and the many others who dedicated their time and effort to turning this idea into a reality.

Slated to open in June 2024, this CDL training course will be the first CDL program available within Brevard County.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible for Class A, B, or C CDL licenses.

Brevard Public Schools to host the Career & Technical Education Expo at the Space Coast Convention Center on February 10.

The event is set to take place from 9 a.m. – 12 noon.

The Career & Technical Education Expo is a unique opportunity to explore the diverse range of Career & Technical Education programs available throughout Brevard Public Schools.

There are program offerings in culinary, healthcare, automotive, engineering, aviation, maritime,and more. There’s something for everyone.

This is a free event featuring hands-on activities and informative sessions that will provide students and parents with a firsthand look at what each CTE program entails.
