Police Identifies 34-Year-Old Indialantic Man as Victim in Fatal Train Incident in Melbourne Near Fee Avenue

POLICE: Segretto hit by southbound train near intersection of U.S. 1 and Fee Avenue

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Mark L. Segretto, 34, of Indialantic has been identified as the victim hit by a train near the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 1 and Fee Avenue in Melbourne on Thursday, according to Melbourne Police Commander Heath Sanders.
According to Commander Sanders, at approximately 2:43 p.m. on Thursday, the Melbourne Police Department received a call of a man who was hit by a southbound train near the intersection of U.S. 1 and Fee Avenue, and officers quickly arrived on scene and immediately discovered a deceased male.
“The initial investigation revealed this was a possible intentional act as the man was witnessed on the tracks, north of the intersection, prior to the train’s arrival,” said Commander Sanders.
