Nico Jonte Lennear of Brevard Sentenced to 15 Years in Federal Prison for Distributing Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Lennear was responsible for over 300 grams of methamphetamine and over 50 grams of fentanyl mixtures

Nico Jonte Lennear, 35, of Rockledge, has been sentenced by U.S. District Judge Julie S. Sneed to 15 years in federal prison for distributing fentanyl and methamphetamine. Lennear pleaded guilty on December 10, 2025, and U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe made the announcement.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA –  Nico Jonte Lennear, 35, of Rockledge, has been sentenced by U.S. District Judge Julie S. Sneed to 15 years in federal prison for distributing fentanyl and methamphetamine.

Lennear pleaded guilty on December 10, 2025, and U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe made the announcement.

According to court documents, law enforcement used a confidential source to conduct two controlled purchases of drugs from Lennear in Melbourne, Florida, each of which involved 4 ounces of methamphetamine and 1 ounce of fentanyl.

At the time of Lennear’s arrest, Lennear had over 80 grams of additional methamphetamine in his rental vehicle.

In total, Lennear was responsible for over 300 grams of methamphetamine and over 50 grams of fentanyl mixtures.

This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Megan Testerman.
