BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and local officials responded to the scene of a fatal incident that occurred on 520 Causeway near Cocoa and Merritt Island on Thursday.

The incident was reported around 8:35 p.m.

Eastbound State Road 520 was closed for three hours before authorities reopened the road.
