James Bolick, 82, of Titusville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 24, 2025. His dream became a reality when he joined the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, where he proudly served his community for 32 years before retiring.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – James Bolick, 82, of Titusville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 24, 2025.

Born in Lenoir, North Carolina, James had a lifelong passion for law enforcement.

His dream became a reality when he joined the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, where he proudly served his community for 32 years before retiring.

In his free time, James enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR, two pastimes that brought him great joy and relaxation.

James is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Vivian; his children, Lori Boyd, Sheri Noel, and Alan Bolick; his grandchildren, Katie, Nik, and Olivia; and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Linda Starnes and Rebecca Gilley.

James will be remembered for his dedication to service, his love of family, and the quiet strength he brought to those around him.
