BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – With one week to go, the 2024 ‘Dancing for the Space Coast’ dancers are  preparing for their final dance routines with their dance instructors for the charity event on June 1 at Florida Tech’s Clemente Center.

With a sold out crowd ready to pack inside the Clemente Center this year, one of the dancers in this year’s event is Grace Han.

Grace Han was born and raised in China. She moved to America in 1995 in search of the American dream. That dream started in 2000 when she started her career in the restaurant and hospitality industry as well as becoming an entrepreneur.

During this time, she opened her first restaurant called “Lucky Garden” with her husband Jimmy. Currently, she is the owner of two restaurants called Red Ginger, one on Wickham Road and one in the Melbourne Square mall.

Recently, she launched a new addition, an upscale modern Asian restaurant at the Red Ginger Wickham Road location called YanZi Kitchen.

The addition of this new restaurant concept allows Grace Han to further expand her culinary offerings and cater to diners seeking a more premium Asian dining experience.

She is also the loving mom to her teenage son named Kevin. She is involved in many community activities and is a great supporter.

BRAGGING RIGHTS ON THE LINE

Each celebrity dancer will be matched up with a professional dancer as they compete in a ballroom dance – and for bragging rights as the best dancer in Brevard.

On the evening of the competition, each dance pair will compete in a choreographed ballroom dance that will be scored by a panel of judges. During the show, couples will earn scores based on several technical skill factors, but the judges’ scores alone don’t decide the dancer’s final score.

Leading up to the actual performance, the dancers will have already scored 60 percent of their points through their fundraising endeavors to benefit needy charities.
