Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey Thanks Local Community for Support at Annual Haunted Jail Trail

Message from Sheriff Wayne Ivey
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – I wanted to take a minute to personally thank our entire community for making our Annual Haunted Jail Trail a record breaking amazing success.
This year’s Haunted Jail Trail that is hosted by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Charity, BCFR and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office had record breaking attendance with over 5,000 people coming to support the event and raising over $72,000.
Without question, it was a lot of hard work on our team’s part and I could not be more proud of the hundreds of volunteers that helped put the event together working every night to make it such a success for our community.
I would like to also say a huge “thank you” to all of our volunteers, our Community Services Unit, our Farm Work Crew, our partners at BCFR, and members of the Rockledge Police Department for all they did to make this year’s event a success.
And finally, a huge thank you to our community for supporting our effort to help the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Charity that helps first responders in a time of need, homeless pets in our community and supports our Shop with a Cop program which helps kids in need throughout the Christmas season.
