Brian Hall—Spiritual Coach Is Changing Lives By Leading With Faith and Integrity

By  //  October 2, 2024

Brian Hall—spiritual coach, lead pastor, and mentor—has spent decades guiding people on their unique spiritual paths, helping them strengthen their faith and find their purpose.

Through his two non-profits, the Cincinnati Dream Center and Dream Works, he has reached people from all walks of life, offering more than just advice, but support that changes lives.

Through “Brian Hall Coaching,” he has also mentored over 1,000 high-profile individuals, including entrepreneurs, influencers, and CEOs. His influence goes beyond non-profits, making him a trusted leader in both personal growth and spiritual guidance.

In addition to his spiritual work, Hall is also the president of his family’s development company, which operates across four states. A family man at heart, he’s been married to his wife, Traci, for 18 years. Together, they’re raising four children, helping him stay grounded in his work.

With a deep desire to help others and a heart brimming with faith, his goal is to be a resource for those seeking real, lasting change in their personal or spiritual lives. Through his coaching, leadership, and pastoral roles, he’s committed to bringing out the best in everyone he meets and giving his all to everything he does.

Starting the Day With Purpose

Hall’s days are all about purpose and focus. Before the sun rises, he’s already up, spending quiet moments in prayer, meditation, and reading the Bible. These early morning rituals help him prepare for what’s ahead by getting his heart and mind in the right place for the day.

Next, he turns his focus to his physical health. Hall believes that his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Through daily exercise, he keeps his mind clear and his body energized—helpful on the long days of teaching and mentoring.

When his workday finally begins, he follows a plan. Hall carefully chooses tasks that help him serve others through coaching, leading, or ministry work. Whether he’s getting ready for a sermon or meeting with his team, he always has a bigger mission in mind, which is helping others grow spiritually and personally.

Once the day is over, his work is done, at least not personally. That’s when he turns his attention to his family, spending time with his wife and their four children. His family is just as important as his public work, staying at the center of all he does with his life. Before bed, he reflects on the day he’s had, praying and giving thanks, then asking God for guidance on what’s next for him.

From “Brian Hall Coaching” to Pastoring

Hall may be confident in his different roles today, but he wasn’t always so sure about becoming a pastor. There was a time when he was perfectly content with coaching and mentoring people, but the thought of leading an entire congregation in the Church felt too overwhelming. It wasn’t until his wife encouraged him to step into this role that he really started to reconsider.

Through prayer and deep reflection, he found his answera Bible verse from Proverbs sticking out to him: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” This verse was his guiding light, helping him see that his fears were holding him back and that God had much bigger plans for him.

Hall soon realized that his coaching skills were perfect for his role as a pastor. Now, he guides people not only through personal challenges but also spiritually, using both roles to help others grow in every area of life, whether practically or spiritually.

Faith and Focus in New Projects

Whenever Hall starts a new project, he begins with a time of prayer. In these moments, he asks for guidance, making sure that the project he’s taken on aligns with his purpose. His idea of success is being in tune with God’s plan at each step, never trying to forge his own path.

After praying, he writes down all of his goals—including who the project will benefit—knowing that having a solid plan in place will help everything run more smoothly. Hall doesn’t work alone, though, and he’s careful about who he chooses to work with, picking only those who share his vision and values.

Even with a clear plan and the right people in place, he remains flexible. He’s open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, ready to make adjustments as the project unfolds. Whether it’s a new initiative at the Cincinnati Dream Center or developing coaching materials, he approaches each task with the same combination of faith, strategy, and adaptability.

Living With Integrity Through Tough Choices

Integrity is one of Hall’s leading principles and central to his leadership style for a reason. Early in his career, he took a job that seemed like a great opportunity. It offered a decent salary, a chance for him to grow professionally, and plenty of opportunities to work with other talented individuals. However, he wanted out almost as soon as the job started, realizing that he’d joined an incredibly toxic work environment.

Though there was constant conflict, a lack of true leadership, and regular ethical compromises, Hall still found himself torn. He knew staying in the job would mean going against his own values, but he also felt bad about passing up the promise of career success. Eventually, the emotional toll became too much, and he made the decision to leave. He realized that no job—no matter how promising—was worth sacrificing his integrity for.

This experience still influences Hall’s leadership today. He knows how important it is for leaders to create healthy environments where people are respected and integrity is valued. Creating this type of setting also means being picky about who he chooses to work with.

There are times when he’s had to walk away from coaching or mentoring opportunities simply because they didn’t align with his values. Most recently, a client offered him a large sum of money along with more exposure, but after talking it over with trusted advisors and praying about it, Hall ultimately decided to turn the client down.

Although these kinds of decisions are never easy to make, the peace he feels knowing he’s done the right thing makes it worth it. After turning down these offers, he’s found that new ones always come along that are more aligned with his values, reaffirming his belief that integrity will continue to lead him down the right path.

Fostering Growth Through Coaching and Ministry

At the center of Hall’s work is his belief in the power of spiritual and personal growth. He sees coaching as a way to help people succeed and find a deeper meaning and purpose in their lives. His approach combines lessons from the Bible with practical advice, helping people see how their faith and actions affect their futures.

Hall has been influenced by several different spiritual leaders and books, including “Think and Grow Rich” and “As a Man Thinketh,” both with heavy themes of psychology that speak on the power of controlling your mind. These books, along with the teachings of leaders like Bishop TD Jakes, have influenced how he coaches and guides others. His coaching style isn’t just about reaching goals, but aligning them with a greater spiritual purpose.

What truly sets Hall apart is his commitment to serving the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. He believes that spiritual growth and personal development go hand in hand, so he focuses on helping people find fulfillment in all areas of their lives, not just their careers or relationships.
