Over the past few months, students across Brevard County have been coming together at Titusville High School to dive into unique and inspiring literary experiences that spark curiosity and creativity.

In October, the school was thrilled to host renowned author Delilah S. Dawson, who shared her inspiring writing journey with students. Her visit allowed young readers to hear firsthand about her creative process, the challenges of storytelling, and the rewards of persistence.

But the excitement didn’t stop there. The event was capped off with a jaw-dropping magic show by Brandon Smith, blending literature and wonder in a way that kept students on the edge of their seats.

Natalia Sylvester took the spotlight this month, speaking with students about her powerful new book Breathe and Count Back from Ten.

Sylvester’s emotional storytelling and message of resilience left a lasting impression on the young readers, inspiring them to explore their own personal narratives and the importance of self-care and mental health.

Her visit reinforced the profound impact literature can have in sparking empathy and understanding.
