Viera High Senior Girls Place at Wrestling Nationals, Earn All-American Honors

BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA — Viera High School Seniors Wrestlers Emma Hoppe and Isabel Alvarez earned All-American honors at the 2025 National High School Coaches Association High School Wrestling Nationals.

The 36th Annual National High School Coaches Association High School Wrestling Nationals occurred from March 28 to 30 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

This premier wrestling tournament attracted nearly 6,000 wrestlers nationwide, competing in various grade categories.

RESULTS:

ALL-AMERICANS:
● Emma Hoppe – 5th Place (132lbs)
● Isabel Alvarez – 7th Place (120lbs)

In a field of over 64 competitors in each weight class, from all around the country, the Lady Hawks Wrestlers finished in the Top 8 in their respective weight class.

Both Hoppe and Alvarez finished their high school careers with a come-from-behind victory in their final match.
