City of Rockledge to Host Annual ‘Rocktober’ 5K on October 4

The City of Rockledge is gearing up for its annual ‘Rocktober’ 5K, taking place on Saturday, October 4, at the Rockledge Civic Hub, located at 530 Barton Boulevard. This family-friendly event kicks off at 7:30 a.m. and promises a lively morning of fitness, fun, and community spirit for a great cause.

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA — The City of Rockledge is gearing up for its annual ‘Rocktober’ 5K, taking place on Saturday, October 4, at the Rockledge Civic Hub, located at 530 Barton Boulevard. This family-friendly event kicks off at 7:30 a.m. and promises a lively morning of fitness, fun, and community spirit for a great cause.

Proceeds from the race will benefit McNair Magnet Middle School, with funds earmarked for recreational and athletic upgrades at the campus. Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to participate in this timed 5K event.

Race Details & Registration
The registration fee for adults is $30, and for children ages 12 and under, it is $20. Prices increase by $5 after 11:59 p.m. on October 3. Participants can also opt for a $5 discount if they choose not to receive a race T-shirt. Shirts will be guaranteed to the first 120 registrants.

Race-day registration will be available beginning at 6:15 a.m. on October 4 and will close at 7:15 a.m., just before the official race start at 7:30 a.m. An awards ceremony will follow immediately after the race.

Packet Pick-Up
Early packet pick-up will be available on Friday, October 3, from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Rockledge City Hall, located at 1600 Huntington Lane.

Awards
Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female masters (age 40 and older). Age group awards will also be given to the top three male and female participants in the following divisions: 9 & under, 10–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+.

Amenities
Participants will enjoy post-race refreshments and snacks. The event also features commemorative T-shirts for early registrants, ensuring participants have a lasting memento of the day.
