Courageous Kicks Taekwondo of Titusville Gears Up for Nationals in July

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Courageous Kicks Taekwondo and students are heading to Daytona, Florida, to defend their title this July.

They unleashed a gem in Master Happy Kierstead-Howell as it ruled the poomsae competition at the USCDKA Brenda J. Sell Classic tournament last year.

Over 15 Courageous Kicks Taekwondo students outshone most competitors from different schools at the 2024 Brenda J. Sell Classic tournament, held on November 16 at Victory Church in Lakeland, Florida.

Beyond the medals, this victory stands as a powerful reminder of Courageous Kicks Taekwondo’s mission: to develop quality martial artists through the teaching of Taekwondo Chung Do Kwan. Courageous Kicks Taekwondo was crowned with a three-peat feat after garnering the best school title against other schools in the country.

This remarkable achievement of Courageous Kicks Taekwondo underscores the school’s ability to create award-winning students as well as its commitment to societal progress. In this year’s edition of USCDKA, Courageous Kicks Taekwondo swept multiple awards, with awards ranging from largest number of participants to best school, all designed to improve the quality of life for each student at Courageous Kicks Taekwondo.

Kicking and winning together, Courageous Kicks Taekwondo celebrates a shared success built on a foundation of trust, innovation, and higher purpose.

“Courageous Kicks Taekwondo is a Christian taekwondo school that creates a great family atmosphere,” said Master Happy Kierstead-Howell.

In addition, Courageous Kicks Taekwondo garnered most of the medals at the 2024 Teal Tournament, followed by the 2024 USCDKA National Championships.

Winning as the best school three times in a row proves the relentless pursuit of excellence in every event. These accolades go beyond school recognition.
