The Pink Team, Team Voltage and Team 801 Horsepower Proudly Represented Brevard at 2025 FIRST Robotics World Championship

Three incredible teams—The Pink Team, Team Voltage, and Team 801 Horsepower—proudly represented Brevard County at the 2025 FIRST Robotics World Championship in Houston, Texas.
The Pink Team made a triumphant return to Worlds for the first time since 2019, earning top honors across three regionals, including the FIRST Impact Award and Woodie Flowers Finalist Award. They placed 21st on the Galileo field, showcasing their innovation and spirit.

Team Voltage from Melbourne High powered through the season as Tallahassee Regional Champions, earning the Industrial Design Award and celebrating student Daniella F. as a Dean’s List Finalist. They placed 45th on the Archimedes field, proving their strength and creativity.

Team 801 Horsepower, with students from Edgewood and Merritt Island High, earned the Engineering Inspiration Award and Innovation in Control Award, placing 34th on the Hopper field. Their passion for STEM and engineering excellence was on full display.
“These teams exemplify the values of teamwork, leadership, and real-world problem solving,” said a Brevard Public Schools spokesperson. “Brevard Public Schools is proud of its achievements and grateful to the mentors and educators who helped guide them.”
