Vacation Bible School Kicks Off With Road Trip to Suntree United Methodist Church

VBS Road Trip starts Monday, June 9, and continues through Friday, June 13

BREVARD COUNTY • SUNTREE, FLORIDA — The Vacation Bible School Road Trip is a week of fun-filled travel adventure that will bring the young participants to exciting destinations “on the go with God.”

The VBS Road Trip starts Monday, June 9, and continues through Friday, June 13, with planned activities each day from 9 a.m. to noon. The church at 7400 N. Wickham Road in Suntree will help children discover God’s presence everywhere in an exploration of Christian faith.

The school year is ending, and parents are eagerly looking for fun and meaningful learning options for their small fry. Suntree United Methodist Church has the answer in Road Trip, the themed Vacation Bible School for youngsters entering kindergarten through 6th grade.

The $40 registration fee per student (with a maximum of $100 per family) includes a t-shirt, daily snacks, crafts, and activities. For families experiencing financial hardship, scholarships are available for the VBS Road Trip.

Pastor of Worship Arts at Suntree United Methodist Church, Mike Mayes, explains what the youngsters can expect from the VBS Road Trip.

“Led by the Navigator and a pup named Scout, kids will explore new places, make new friends, and experience God’s goodness together,” said Reverend Mayes. “The young travelers will find plenty of adventure and fun along the way, in a week jam-packed with crafts and activities.”
