I build learning into my daily structure—early mornings, reflection, journaling, case updates, and focused reading. Every day, I ask what I could have done better. In your practice, what tools or systems do you use to set client goals, track legal milestones, and measure success over time?

We reverse-engineer the path from the client’s objective. What’s the outcome they want? What risks need to be avoided? We track milestones through internal systems, but the real measure of success is simple: Did we get the result? Did we protect the client? And did we do it without wasting their time or money?

Legal work often involves challenging personalities—how do you de-escalate conflict or resolve difficult client or colleague interactions while preserving trust?

I listen carefully and try to set aside my emotions. Most conflict is just miscommunication. I work to reset the conversation around the shared goal: getting the client where they need to go without added risk or drama. That clarity usually reorients the discussion. We don’t get distracted. We stay on mission.
