Palm Bay Police Arrest Man Suspected of Photographing Women at Turkey Creek Sanctuary Last Year

POLICE: Suspect linked to several similar incidents dating back to August 2023
BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay police detectives have arrested 30-year-old Joshua Barley on charges of Digital Voyeurism, False Imprisonment and Battery in a case related to an incident that happened at Turkey Creek Sanctuary last November.
According to Palm Bay Police Lt. Virginia Kilmer, in November 2024, Palm Bay Police received calls regarding a suspicious male in the Turkey Creek Sanctuary who was approaching and taking photographs of females in the area.
“A substantial search was conducted, however, no one was located,” said Lt. Kilmer. “A sketch of the male was distributed through our social media platforms, which resulted in several potential leads.”
Lt. Kilmer said that through outstanding and thorough investigative work, Palm Bay police detectives were able to not only positively identify the suspect as Barley but also link him to several similar incidents dating back to August 2023.
“On June 26, 2025, members of the Crime Suppression Unit located and arrested Barley,” said Lt. Kilmer.
Barley is currently being held in the Brevard County Jail with no bond.
