Utility Work Lane Closures Scheduled for Malabar Road in Palm Bay July 28-31

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA — The City of Palm Bay has advised motorists traveling along Malabar Road to expect lane closures and possible delays later this month due to upcoming utility and road construction work.
The contractor for Publix, KCF Construction, will be conducting roadway operations as part of Florida Power & Light utility improvements.
The work will take place just south of St. Johns Heritage Parkway on westbound Malabar Road, approximately 600 feet west of SJHP.
Construction is scheduled from Monday, July 28 through Thursday, July 31, between the hours of 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily. All directions of travel may experience impacts due to lane detours and shifts, as channelizing devices will be in place to guide traffic through the area.
Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution, follow posted signage, and allow extra travel time while work is underway.
