Hundreds of singers from across Central Florida are expected to join the massed chorus, accompanied by members of the Space Coast Symphony Chamber Orchestra and a slate of professional soloists.

This year’s featured performers include Mary Anne Kruger, soprano; Jacquelyn Pileckas, alto; Bryan Hayes, tenor; and Jacob Pence, bass.

The orchestra and chorus will be led by Space Coast Symphony Conductor and Artistic Director Aaron T. Collins, who will also guide the audience through a spirited selection of Christmas carols, including Joy to the World, O Come All Ye Faithful, Hark The Herald Angels Sing and Silent Night.

Singers are encouraged to bring their own Messiah scores; a limited number will also be available to borrow. While admission is free, attendees must reserve a complimentary ticket to secure seating at SpaceCoastSymphony.org. A suggested donation of $10 per person supports concert expenses.

Collins expressed excitement for the annual celebration, noting the energy that fills the room when the Hallelujah chorus begins. He praised Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church for its continued support. He emphasized how the event unites both seasoned performers and community members who enjoy the music of the season.

Handel’s Messiah remains one of the most performed works of the Christmas period. Composed in just 24 days in 1741, the oratorio is recognized worldwide for its stirring choruses and enduring emotional power. Traditionally presented during Advent, the work explores themes from the life of Christ and has become a cornerstone of seasonal musical programming.
