Property Appraiser Dana Blickley will deliver a presentation

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Brevard County Property Appraiser Dana Blickley will deliver a presentation on property appraisals and the resources available to the public, as well as answer questions from the audience, on January 6 at 1 p.m. at 8085 Spyglass Hill Road in Viera.
Additional questions about real estate valuation will be answered by Four Star Real Estate, a brokerage specializing in real estate assistance for seniors and veterans.
The county property appraiser identifies, lists, and fairly values all property (real estate, business equipment) in the county for tax purposes, maintaining records, maps, and ownership details.
Senior citizens over age 65 can defer the portion of their property taxes that exceeds 3% of their annual income, not including Social Security, on their homestead property.
Nancy Bartlett, Real Estate Broker and Senior Real Estate Specialist for Four Star Real Estate, is sponsoring Ask the Property Appraiser for the public.
“A lot of people have questions about how their property is valued, both for tax purposes and for sale valuation,” said Bartlett. “Dana Blickley is a true professional with a wealth of knowledge and experience. We are looking forward to the information she is going to present and to the Q&A with the audience.”

Blickley was first elected to this constitutional office in November 2012. She was re-elected without opposition in 2016, 2020, and 2024.
Before she was elected Property Appraiser, Blickley was the Director of Tax Roll & CAMA Systems with the Brevard County Property Appraiser. She has over 30 years of experience in mass appraisal and assessment administration.
