Cocoa Announces 24th Annual Economic Development Business Showcase January 21

City of Cocoa Spotlights Economic Development and Small Businesses

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The City of Cocoa is inviting residents, business owners, and community leaders to attend its annual Economic Development Business Showcase and Market, set for Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the Cocoa Civic Center.
The free, public event will run from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and is designed to highlight local businesses, promote networking, and showcase the city’s economic progress over the past year.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the Cocoa Business Market, connect with entrepreneurs and professionals, and learn more about the city’s ongoing economic development efforts.
More than 15 local businesses are expected to participate in the Cocoa Market portion of the event, offering samples and information about their products and services.
Businesses already signed up include: Old Salt Pickling Co., OSSORIO Bakery & Café, Equipment Fabricators, Forgotten Block, Royalty Inspections, Inc., Tenda los3 hermanos, 8 Arm Chef, Historic Cocoa Village MainStreet, A Taste of Elegance, VasWeb, Green Circle, The Village Art Gallery, and others, with additional vendors anticipated.
The evening’s agenda begins with the Cocoa Market from 4 to 5 p.m., followed by welcoming remarks and the keynote presentation from 5 to 5:40 p.m. Networking and the business market will continue through 6:30 p.m.

The keynote speaker is Kevin Lowdermilk, CEO and CFO of Vaya Space.
Lowdermilk brings more than three decades of executive leadership experience in the aerospace, defense, and technology sectors.
His career includes previous roles as CEO of ISO Group, Inc., CEO and CFO of Exostar, and vice president of finance for a multinational aerospace division of Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC.
He also serves as an independent board member and audit committee chair for publicly traded companies VSee Health, Inc., and AgEagle Aerial Systems, Inc. Lowdermilk holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Western Kentucky University and an MBA from Ball State University.

City officials describe the showcase as a “happy hour”–style business networking event that supports local commerce while strengthening connections among businesses, residents, and economic partners.
The event is open to the public, free to attend, and does not require an RSVP.
For for-profit Cocoa businesses interested in showcasing at the event, space is limited.
