BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Craig Technologies has been awarded a contract on the Missile Defense Agency’s Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity program.
This award underscores Craig Technologies’ proven expertise in delivering advanced engineering, systems integration, technology development, and mission-critical support to the nation’s most demanding defense programs.
The SHIELD program is a key component of the Missile Defense Agency’s efforts to rapidly develop, prototype, test, and field innovative capabilities that strengthen the United States’ layered defense.
The project, also referred to as Golden Dome, aims to integrate space-based sensors, layered interceptors, and early warning systems to detect and engage threats before or during flight, further enhancing national protection.
Under this IDIQ, Craig Technologies will be eligible to compete for task orders supporting a broad range of disciplines, including Systems Engineering, Operations and Sustainment, and Hardware and Software Modifications.

“We are honored to be selected as an awardee of the MDA SHIELD program,” said Carol Craig, Founder and CEO of Craig Technologies.
