BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Titusville Police Department and Titusville Fire Department have announced a communitywide Valentine’s Day donation drive aimed at bringing comfort and joy to seniors living in local nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Partnering with the City of Titusville, the departments are inviting residents to help make the holiday meaningful for some of the community’s most cherished members.
The effort encourages donations of new, unused comfort and activity items that can brighten seniors’ daily lives. Suggested items include non-slip socks, lap blankets, stuffed animals, large print word search books, adult coloring books, colored pencils, and puzzles. All contributions will be distributed directly to local facilities ahead of Valentine’s Day.
Donations are now being accepted, with a collection deadline of February 9.
Drop off locations include:
• Titusville Police Department Headquarters at 1100 John Glenn Boulevard
• Titusville Fire Department Headquarters at Station 11 located at 550 South Washington Avenue.
Items may be dropped off during normal business hours from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
To make participation even easier, the Titusville Police Department is offering after hours pickup for residents who are unable to travel to the drop off locations. Community members can call TPD at 321-264-7800 to schedule a convenient collection time at their home.
Deliveries to nursing homes and assisted living facilities are scheduled for February 12, just in time to spread Valentine’s Day cheer.

City leaders and first responders are encouraging the community to come together, show compassion, and help ensure seniors feel remembered and appreciated during the holiday.
