There are three phases of installations and go-live dates.

Phase 1 has a go live date of March 9, while Phase 2 and Phase 3 are still to be determined. Drivers will receive notice of violations who exceed the posted speed school zone speed limit by 11+ MPH.

Remember there will be a 60 day warning phase once each phase goes live. Following the 60 day warning phase, warnings will turn into citations.

The automated school zone enforcement program is active and running within 30 minutes before through 30 minutes after the start of a regularly scheduled school session as well as during the entirety of a regularly scheduled school session.

Titusville PD has and always will take proactive steps to enhance safety in school zones and encourage safer driving speeds through in person measures and technological measures.

Titusville Police Department considers traffic, roadway, pedestrian and bicycle safety as one of our top priorities and strongly believe in this automated program with the goal of slowing down traffic and keeping our children safe as they travel to and from school and during the school day.
