BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Tourist Development Council is scheduled to meet at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, at the Viera Government Center to conduct regular business and review ongoing tourism-related initiatives.

Tourism Development Director Peter Cranis is slated to present the director’s report, which included short term rental reports, tourist development tax collection updates for October and November, and a December budget report for the 2025–26 fiscal year.

The agenda also calls for a discussion on capital facilities, followed by an opportunity for public comment. Council members are then scheduled to provide individual reports, including updates from Chair Rob Feltner, Vice Chair Tom Hermansen, and representatives from municipalities across Brevard County.

The Tourist Development Council noted that its next regular meeting is scheduled for February 25 at the same location, with additional meetings throughout the year as part of its ongoing oversight of tourism funding and development efforts.
