Donald J. Trump International Airport Coming Soon?

The Florida House of Representatives on Wednesday approved legislation that would rename Palm Beach International Airport in honor of Donald Trump.

TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – The Florida House of Representatives on Wednesday approved legislation that would rename Palm Beach International Airport in honor of Donald Trump.

The proposal now moves to the Florida Senate for further consideration.

Under the bill, the airport would be renamed Donald J. Trump International Airport.

The legislation also grants the state authority to name seven major commercial service airports across Florida, though Palm Beach International is the only facility currently identified for a name change.

Supporters said the renaming is fitting given the airport’s proximity to Trump’s residence at Mar-a-Lago.

While the measure establishes a broader framework allowing the state to designate names for seven major airports, the only specific change outlined in the proposal is the renaming of Palm Beach International Airport.

The bill now heads to the Florida Senate for full review.
