WATCH: SpaceX Launches Falcon 9 Rocket This Morning Carrying Starlink Satellites From Cape Canaveral
BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX successfully launched 29 Starlink satellites early Tuesday morning aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
The Falcon 9 lifted off at approximately 5:33 a.m. ET, illuminating the predawn sky above Florida’s Space Coast as it carried the satellites toward low-Earth orbit.
The mission marked the record-setting 37th flight for the Falcon 9 first-stage booster, designated B1067.
The veteran booster previously supported CRS-22, Crew-3, Türksat 5B, Crew-4, CRS-25, Eutelsat HOTBIRD 13G, SES O3b mPOWER-A, PSN SATRIA, Telkomsat Merah Putih 2, Galileo, Koreasat-6A and 25 additional Starlink missions.
Following stage separation, the booster returned to Earth and landed aboard the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
The Falcon 9’s upper stage continued carrying the 29 satellites into low-Earth orbit, where they were deployed to expand SpaceX’s Starlink internet constellation.
