SpaceX is targeting Tuesday, August 25, for the launch of 29 Starlink satellites aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX is targeting Tuesday, August 25, for the launch of 29 Starlink satellites aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Launch coverage starts at 6:50 a.m. ET.
The satellites will be deployed into low-Earth orbit as SpaceX continues expanding its Starlink internet constellation.
The mission will mark the 37th flight for the Falcon 9 first-stage booster supporting the launch.
The veteran booster previously supported CRS-22, Crew-3, Türksat 5B, Crew-4, CRS-25, Eutelsat HOTBIRD 13G, SES O3b mPOWER-A, PSN SATRIA, Telkomsat Merah Putih 2, Galileo, Koreasat-6A and 25 Starlink missions.
Following stage separation, SpaceX plans to land the booster aboard the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
