BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A week after delivering one of the most thrilling games of the season, Holy Trinity and Melbourne Central Catholic will meet again with far more at stake.
Holy Trinity (17-9) travels to face Melbourne Central Catholic (10-17) on February 14 in a regional quarterfinal showdown, renewing a rivalry that produced a dramatic overtime finish just days ago.
On February 7, MCC edged Holy Trinity 56-54 in a back-and-forth battle that wasn’t decided until the extra period, leaving both teams with plenty of motivation heading into the postseason rematch.
With a regional final berth on the line, the intensity is expected to be even higher this time around.
The winner will advance to face either University Christian or PK Yonge, adding another layer of urgency to an already compelling matchup.
