Precautionary Boil Water Notice Issued in Mims Water Service Area

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for residents of the Mims water service area living at all residents on the following streets Black Gum Dr., Burrowing Owl Dr., Caspian Rd., Center St., Clubhouse Dr., Falcon Ln., Fitzroy Reef Dr., Folsom Rd., Hill St., I-95 Rest Area MM 225 Northbound, Indian River Pkwy., Loggerhead Ln., W. Main St., Morrow Pl., Palm Ave., Pecan St., Pine Ave., Pramuk Ln., Quantum Pl., Sanctuary Dr., Sandhill Crane Cir., Spruce St., Starling Pl., Sweet Bay Dr., Tangerine St., Tupelo Ave., Weatherby Ln., Woodland Ct., and Wren Tr.
A water main break has occurred at Indian River Pkwy in the Mims water service area.
The repair has been completed and water service should be restored to all residents.
As a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. You will receive another notification at that time.
