MILESTONES: Brevard’s Carroll Distributing Marks 66 Years, Stresses Corporate Social Responsibility
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Space Coast-focused, family-owned and operated, Carroll Distributing has eagerly served its community since 1960.
What began as a small warehouse off U.S. 1 has evolved into a 165,000-square-foot facility on Chad Carroll Way in Melbourne, Florida, allowing Carroll Distributing to act as the premier distributor for Brevard County.
Carroll Distributing is committed to serving the local community through advocating for responsible alcoholic beverage consumption, education, event support, and the arts.
With over 1,000 SKUs and 34+ suppliers, Carroll Distributing’s dedicated team delivers an array of fresh, high-quality beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic refreshments to Brevard’s finest food and beverage locales. Welcome to the family!

Responsible Drinking
Carroll Distributing Company dedicates $46,000 a year to alcohol awareness. The money goes to prevent alcohol abuse, including drunk driving and underage drinking.
“We are proud to promote responsible drinking behaviors and look for ways to invest in new ways to drive awareness around these critical issues,” said a company spokesperson.
Carroll Distributing pays $12 million in taxes annually, which the government uses to invest in technology and education and to provide goods and services for the benefit of the American people.
Florida’s three-tier system comprises brewers, distributors, and retailers.
All three work together to bring consumers the tremendous variety of craft beer they enjoy, but you may not realize how huge a role the distributor plays in the process.

“At Carroll Distributing, we are an extension of local breweries, introducing their products to our retailers. This, in turn, allows our retailers to offer a wide variety of beers to their consumers,” said a company spokesperson.
Carroll Distributing is responsible for $3.6 million a year to the Step Up Scholarship Fund for the State of Florida.
Step Up For Students helps ensure that equal educational opportunity for all children is not just a dream but a reality.
Step Up is a state-approved nonprofit scholarship-funding organization that helps administer four scholarships for Florida schoolchildren.
These scholarships empower Florida families to have a voice in their children’s education and strengthen public education by offering options to struggling schoolchildren.
