Brevard County Seeks School Crossing Guards Ahead of New School Year
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – As we look forward to a new Brevard Public Schools school year, Brevard County’s Public Safety group is hosting three crossing guard hiring events to ensure the safety of some of our most vulnerable residents.
If you’re interested in a two-hour daily time commitment that gives back to your community in a rewarding way, come out to one of our Crossing Guard Hiring events:
– July 26-Satellite Beach Library from 10 am to 1 pm
– July 29-Suntree Library from 10 am to 1 pm, hiring for Suntree and Viera
– July 30-Cocoa Library from 10 am to 1 pm, hiring for Cocoa and Merritt Island
Position details:
– Part-time permanent role
– Five days a week, 2 hours per day
– Pension
– Paid holidays
– Annual and sick leave
– Summers and weekends off
– $16.75 hourly pay
