BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX successfully launched the Northrop Grumman MRV-MEP mission Tuesday evening from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Liftoff occurred during a four-hour launch window that opened at 5:15 p.m. ET, sending the mission into a geosynchronous transfer orbit.
The mission marked the 32nd and final flight of the Falcon 9 first stage booster, which was retired after completing one of the most flown booster careers in SpaceX history. The booster previously supported the CRS-24 cargo mission to the International Space Station, Eutelsat HOTBIRD 13F, OneWeb 1, SES-18 and SES-19, and 27 Starlink missions.
