Florida Tech Panthers Volleyball Team Ranked No. 25 for First Time in School History

Panthers are on a ten-game win streak
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – After an undefeated three-game road trip, Florida Tech volleyball has moved into AVCA rankings coming in at No. 25.
This is the first time in school history that Tech has received a national ranking.
The Panthers picked up an impressive road win over No. 17 Lynn who was undefeated on their home court coming into the matchup. Tech is also the only team to defeat the Fighting Knights on their season taking the series 2-0 for the first time since 2017.
This win paired with three ranked wins this season including No. 4 Tampa, No. 21 West Florida, and No. 17 Lynn earlier in the season contributed to the ranking.
The Crimson and Grey are one of four SSC teams to be recognized in this week’s poll, with No. 9 Tampa, No. 17 Lynn, and No. 23 Barry.
The Panthers currently on a ten-game win streak, following an undefeated month of October, will look to continue their great season as they are set to host No. 23 Barry on Thursday, Nov. 7 at the Clemente Center, First Serve set for 7 pm.
