Rockledge Native, Former Raiders Star Jashaun Corbin Signs With Dallas Cowboys

ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Jashaun Corbin’s football journey has taken him from Rockledge High School to Florida State, the professional ranks and the UFL.
Now, the Rockledge native is getting another opportunity in the National Football League.
Orlando Storm running back and former Rockledge Raiders standout Jashaun Corbin has signed a contract with the Dallas Cowboys, the team announced.
For Corbin, the move represents another chapter in a career that began on the football fields of Brevard County, where he established himself as one of the top players to come through the Rockledge Raiders program.
Corbin starred at Rockledge High School before emerging as a highly regarded college football prospect. His success with the Raiders helped pave the way for a career at the highest levels of the sport.
After leaving Rockledge, Corbin began his college career at Texas A&M before transferring back to his home state to play for Florida State.
With the Seminoles, Corbin rushed for 1,185 yards and 12 touchdowns during his career and developed into a versatile offensive weapon as both a runner and receiver.
Corbin entered the NFL in 2022, signing with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent. He appeared in six games for New York during the 2023 season, recording three receptions for 12 yards and one rushing attempt.
He later spent time with the Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots organizations as he continued pursuing his NFL career.
Corbin found considerable success in the UFL, earning All-UFL honors in 2025 with the San Antonio Brahmas after leading the league with 514 rushing yards. He averaged 5.3 yards per carry and scored four rushing touchdowns.
The former Raider continued his strong play after joining the Orlando Storm for the 2026 season.
Corbin appeared in all 10 games, rushing for 438 yards on 131 carries and scoring three touchdowns. He also recorded 118 receiving yards and 322 kick return yards.
His 878 all-purpose yards ranked third in the UFL, while his 438 rushing yards were also third-best in the league.
His performance was enough to earn another shot at the NFL, this time with one of the league’s most recognizable franchises.
Corbin becomes the fourth Orlando Storm player and 39th player from the 2026 UFL season to sign an NFL contract following the season.
