One of the key topics of the evening was the potential redevelopment of “The Compound,” a large, underutilized area of Palm Bay often referred to as “problem land.”

City officials announced vacancies on the Community Development Advisory Board. One position is available for a representative from the affordable housing sector, specifically those with a background in banking, residential homebuilding, or for-profit housing development.

Additionally, two-term expirations were noted for positions representing general city residents.
