BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA — The Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast celebrates the momentum surrounding Amazon’s Project Kuiper, a major initiative aimed at bringing global broadband access to underserved communities.
Located on Florida’s iconic Space Coast, Project Kuiper’s state-of-the-art Payload Integration and Processing Facility is at the heart of satellite preparations for launch and deployment.
The Space Coast is now home to one of only two global launch sites dedicated to Project Kuiper’s ambitious mission.
Preparations are underway for a robust launch cadence of two to three missions per month, ultimately building a constellation of more than 3,200 satellites that are designed to deliver reliable, high-speed internet access worldwide.

Beyond its technological significance, Project Kuiper is fueling economic growth throughout the region.
The project is directly supporting a network of suppliers, generating highly skilled jobs, and driving significant investment into Florida’s Space Coast.
“The EDC proudly recognizes Project Kuiper’s contributions to the area’s thriving aerospace ecosystem,” said an EDC spokesperson.
“With the rallying cry, ‘Go Atlas. Go Kuiper. Go for Launch,’ the Space Coast continues to solidify its reputation as a global leader in space innovation and exploration.”
