Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Conducts Training Exercise at Cruise Terminal 10 in Port Canaveral

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a full-day training exercise today at Cruise Terminal 10.
The exercise runs from 8 a.m. and will continue until 5 p.m.
Authorities are advising both residents and visitors to avoid the area until the training concludes. The operation is part of ongoing preparedness efforts to ensure deputies and partner agencies are ready to respond effectively to potential emergencies in high-traffic areas such as the Port.
Officials emphasized that the event is strictly a training exercise and there is no threat to the public. However, those traveling near Port Canaveral should expect to see an increased law enforcement presence throughout the day.
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office thanked the community for its cooperation and understanding as deputies complete this important training to strengthen public safety.
