Eastern Florida State College Women’s Golf Team in Ninth Place at Flagler Fall Slam

BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s golf team is in ninth place at the Flagler Fall Slam after two rounds on Monday at Marsh Creek Country Club.
The Titans shot rounds of 319 and 302 and are seven strokes behind Seminole State College.
Rollins College is in first place after shooting 1-under in the first round and 1-over in the second round.
Blair Powers and Margaux Blais are each nine over for the tournament and are tied for 30th. Powers shot 7-over 79 and then 2-over 74 in the second round. Blais shot an 82 in the first sound but bounced back with a 1-under 71 in the second round. Blais had an eagle on the par 5 16th hole.
Ann Burel shot an 80 in the first round and then had a 77 in the second round and is tied for 39th overall. Vivian Luu shot rounds of 78 and an 86 in the second round and Konstance Anglett had an 84 and an 80.
It was a struggle all day we were off by just enough and you can’t be off by much at Marsh Creek without paying the price,” Eastern Florida State College women’s golf coach Jamie Howell said. “Afternoon was much better with plenty of room for improvement.”
The teams will tee off Tuesday morning for the final round of the tournament.
