BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Angel, a gentle and affectionate pup at the Brevard County Animal Care Center, is approaching a full year—nearly 365 days—of waiting for a family to call her own. Staff and volunteers say she has a heart as warm as her name, and one of her greatest joys is going for car rides, ears flapping, tail wagging, excited for any adventure.

Sheriff Wayne Ivey is asking the community to help give Angel the best ride of her life: a trip straight into the arms of a loving new family.

“She is a sweet pup that truly loves to go for car rides,” Sheriff Ivey said. “I am asking someone to come give her the best ride she could ever have… a ride to her new home and new family that will love her ‘furever!’”

With Thanksgiving approaching, the Sheriff hopes someone will open their heart and home to this deserving dog who has waited far too long.

Residents are encouraged to visit the Brevard County Animal Care Center at 5100 W. Eau Gallie Blvd and meet Angel in person. One visit might be all it takes to discover the companion you didn’t know you were missing.

“So come on down…and make sure that Angel has the best Thanksgiving she has ever had,” Sheriff Ivey added. “Let her be what warms your family’s heart each and every day!”

Angel is ready. She’s waiting. And her “furever” family may be just one car ride away.
