BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College softball team lost a pair of Citrus Conference games on the road Saturday.

The Titans fell 6-0 and 5-1 to No. 3 Florida Southwestern State College on the road and are now 16-10 in the conference.

After three scoreless innings, Florida Southwestern struck for four runs in the fourth and two more in the fifth to pick up the win. Isabel Otero went 2-for-2 in the game and Zoey Mills got the start and took the loss.

In the second game the Titans got on the board first as Annalyn Duncan hit a solo home run in the bottom of the first inning. It was Duncan’s eighth home run of the season.

But Florida Southwestern tied the game in the bottom of the second inning and then took the lead in the third. They would add five runs in the fifth to pick up the win.

Duncan had two hits in the game as Avery Velazquez took the loss.

Eastern Florida State College will hit the road for the next six games, beginning Tuesday with a conference doubleheader at Polk State College beginning at 3 p.m.
