The unique needs of those who served in the military are paramount to St. Francis Reflections, an organization dedicated to providing the highest quality end-of-life care.

“This special race is to honor those whose dash, the time between birth and death, included service to our nation. Their dash in life has overlapped ours, and we want to celebrate them,” said Shawn Bassham, Chief Philanthropy Officer with St. Francis Reflections Foundation.

“We want to ensure these Veterans feel the gratitude of our nation for their service.”

“As a Foundation Board member and marathon runner, I am excited and honored to direct this race! Our course is flat and scenic, and we will have lots of raffle prizes to give away to participants,” said Terry Ryan, Race Director.

The DASH-Home Challenge will support ongoing special projects for the care of Veterans, including palliative and hospice care, homeless Veteran housing, and homelessness prevention for at-risk Veteran families in Brevard County.
