Pierre Quantez Butler, 34, of Titusville, was shot and killed in the area of Booker Street and Gilbert Street at about 10:45 p.m. Sunday night, according to police.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Pierre Quantez Butler, 34, of Titusville, was shot and killed in the area of Booker Street and Gilbert Street at about 10:45 p.m. Sunday night, according to police.

According to Amy Matthews, Titusville Police Department Public Affairs Coordinator/Public Information Officer, officers responded to a report of a shooting where the preliminary investigation revealed that an adult male victim was shot and killed.

No one else was injured and there is no active threat to the community at this time.

“This homicide remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department and further details will be released upon its conclusion by investigators,” said Matthews.
