BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Jean L. Laney, 94, of Melbourne, passed away Saturday March 24, 2012 in West Melbourne.
Jean was a retired Librarian moving here in 1978 from Huntington, West Virginia and a member of the Eastminster Presbyterian Church.
She was very active for many years as a volunteer with the Red Cross and held many positions in her church.
Survivors include her sons Zack, Jr., John and Peter Laney, daughter Anne Steele, grandchildren Robb, Michael, Drew, Lee and Gina and great-grandchildren Wyatt, Zachary, Emilee and Laney.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday March 27th at 11:00 a.m. in the Eastminster Presbyterian Church, Indialantic, Florida.
The family wants to thank the staff of Sterling House 1 and Vitas Hospice for the care given their mother and two very dear family friends who were always there for us Jeanie Oliphant and Jane Collins.
