Marcia told the station, WJBK, which is located in Southfield Michigan, all sorts of cool stuff about T’ville, including why it’s known as “Space City.”

Where Space Meets Nature

As the Titusville Chamber’s website says, “Titusville, Florida is the place where space and nature meet. Our beautiful waterfront community is home to Orlando’s closest beach and conveniently located near Port Canaveral, Daytona Beach, and Cocoa Beach. Titusville is host to the world’s premier location for technological advancement, including manned and unmanned spaceflight at the Kennedy Space Center – co-existing with pristine beaches and natural habitat at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and the Canaveral National Seashore. Our residents and businesses are concerned with maintaining that balance and promoting smart growth, allowing more people to call our treasured city home and providing for the same quality of life and family atmosphere that has made us a great place to live, work and play for generations.”

“We invite you to explore all that the communities of Scottsmoor, Mims, Titusville and Port St. John have to offer….whether you’re vacationing or relocating, we guarantee you won’t be disappointed.”
