Central Brevard Softball Organizational Meetings Set

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND & COCOA, FLORIDA – Organizational meetings for the 2012 Summer Softball Season will be held at 5:30 p.m. May 22 and May 23 for the Central Area of Brevard County Parks and Recreation.

The City Coed meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 22, at the Karen Stallard Rood Building at Kiwanis Island Park, 951 Kiwanis Island Park Road in Merritt Island. League play will be held at Mitchell Ellington Park and Kiwanis Island Park in Merritt Island.
The Men’s City meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 23, at the Central Area Parks Operations Office, 840 Forrest Ave. in Cocoa. This league will be held at Stradley Park in Cocoa.
The cost per team is $350 for a 16-game season. All new teams or teams with new sponosors must be registered with the USSA prior to the start of the season.
The $25 fee is payable to FLA USSSA, Attn: Larry Makela, 2115 Otterbein Ave., Cocoa, FL 32922.
