BREVARD COUNTY •  MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Melbourne’s fast-growing networking group recently hosted it’s first evening networking mixer.  Founded in June, 2011, ‘Center Of Influence’ expanded from twice-monthly morning meetings to include a quarterly evening mixer.

More than 40 local business professionals turned out for the highly successful gathering, which was held at Victoria Landing’s new sales office at 1209 N. Harbor City Boulevard in Melbourne.

Virginia Wood and Kathleen Cummins of Victoria Landing were on hand to answer questions about the soon-to-open assisted living facility.  For more information about Victoria Landing Waterfront Assisted Living, log on to VictoriaLanding.com.

Center of Influence has dozens of members, welcomes new members,  and champions the slogan, “Where Business Meets Influence.”

Businesses Working Together

Center of Influence was established as a network of valued and respected area businesses working together to grow local businesses and create a stronger community.

Cathynia Spence-Hernandez and Terry Locke, co-founders of Center of Influence, welcomed the group and made opening remarks. They awarded door prizes donated by various Center of Influence members, and shared the group’s goals and philosophy.

Denwood Parrish of New England Financial, Jeanne Serrano of Victoria Landing, and Kim Burke of Maverick Multimedia were among those in attendance.

Also in attendance were Mike Peterson of Suntree Medical, Judy Bova of ServPro, Richard Albright of Life Mastery Hypnotherapy, AnneMarie Martin of SarahCare, and Dave Menzell of MAI.

Attendees made new business contacts and took the opportunity to gather referrals.

Center of Influence meets the first and the third Thursday of each month at PNC Bank at 3000 Sarno Road in Melbourne.
