BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Holy Trinity Episcopal boys’ track team captured first place in the 2012 FHSAA Class 1A State Track and Field Championships on April 27th at the University of North Florida’s Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville.

The Holy Trinity boys’ team earned 59 points overall, while Holy Trinity’s girls’ squad placed second in Class 1A in the state with 53 points.

Daniel Moore of Holy Trinity won the boys’ 3200-meter run, while Daryth Gayles and Gabby Gayles sparkled in a number of girls’ events.

Members of the Tigers’ boys’ 4 X 400 relay team finished fourth overall in their event, helping Holy Trinity Episcopal secure the Class 1A championship.
