Donald Ransom Dies At 82

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Donald Ransom, 82, of Melbourne, passed away into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 19, 2012. He was born on July 31, 1929 in Preston, Idaho.

He was retired both from the Air Force of 24 years and Southern Bell of 20 years.

He was a member of the So. Carolina Masonic Lodge, Azan Shrine Temple and the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. He was an avid fisherman and golfer belonging to both the Melbourne Beach and Azan Golf Association.He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn of 60 years and four children, Steven, Patricia, Judy and Karma; sister, Norma Seamons of Logan, Utah; aunt, Jeanne Wells of Preston, Idaho; numerous nieces and nephews; six grandchildren, one great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home, 1010 E. Palmetto Ave. in Melbourne, Florida.

Interment will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at a later date.
